A stinking hot day today, so hot that we all felt like we were melting by lunch time. We spent a lot of time in the river today, paddling, splashing and sitting in our camp chairs in the water. The big boys (Rich, Nick and Robin) drank beers and submerged themselves (chairs and all) up to their necks in water. About 3 metres downstream we watched a huge tiger snake slither across the top of the river and later Bella saw the snake return home.
The lovely tourists from the next camp site came up for a few wines by our campfire after dinner and on retiring to bed we spotted a quoll and a small wallaby. More toasting of marshmellows tonight - we might have to restock marshie supplies if we stay many more days.
Highlights: Enjoying the camp shower - heaven!
Cooling off in the river.
Dirt bike riding.
There was more to record from today, but it's just to hot to be bothered thinking and writing.
