Rag curls tutorial:
This is a pretty rough guide - I used one freezer bag for Bella's curls, but if you want thicker curls experiment and use a whole stack of freezer bags at once.
Before you begin - dampen all the hair using a spray bottle (or just use a comb/water). You don't want the hair too wet - otherwise it won't be dry by morning, just slightly damp.
Work in sections - for Bella's head I did about 10/12 rags - once you take the rags out in the morning add more curls by simply running your fingers through the rag curl.
Remember where the child's part sits - so if the hair parts down the middle don't put rags down the middle, make sure they sit either side of the part.
Roll the freezer bag into a long sausage shape and begin rolling the hair under at the end (see pic above).
Keep rolling the freezer bag up the hair (see pic below).
Continue with the other sections and then do a double knot in each freezer bag. Snip the ends off the freezer bag slightly so you don't have long bits hanging everywhere and getting in the way.
