Recently I signed up for Jodie's Christmas swap and was a bit busting to get started, so had my goodies ready to post before our swap partners were allocated. It felt really nice to be able to pop them in the mail last week.
The swap rules were to make a cotton dishcloth and a handmade ornament, so I decided to push myself a bit and knit a cloth, instead of crochet one. I'm so slow with this knitting caper, but after a few nights on the sofa with a spot of knitting here and there, it was finally finished.
My sister gave me a lovely little book called 'Kitchen Bright Dishcloths' by Leisure Arts (#3824) and it includes knitted patterns for 10 dishcloths, so I used a design from here. It turned out really nicely, so I've just cast on a second one from the book too. I used Sugar 'n Cream 10 ply cotton in red and knitted up the heart ornament with some pretty sparkly cotton.
I hope my swap partner likes her goodies and I can't wait to see what I receive back in the post.
