Hand dyed doilies

Wow, crazy busy couple of days here!  I'm making the most of Richard being away by squeezing in lots of craft and have also been working on a small Etsy update.  

You can find my hand dyed doilies over HERE in my Etsy store.  They're a lovely embellishment to use on scrapbooking layouts, cards, hair clips and very cute for gift wrapping!  I'll share some different ways to use them over the next week or so - my first play was with the super quick scrapbooking layout above.  Yes, I actually scrapbooked - it's been a while!

Scrapps Flea Market

Earlier in the week a surprise parcel arrived in the mail for Bella.  She wasn't feeling so great at the time (sporting the beginning of a nasty cold) so there was great excitement when she realised that there was a gift for her to open.

The package was from the lovely Kate Mason and included two gorgeous prints from her Etsy store, Scrapps Flea Market.  Kate's prints are just beautiful - she is beyond clever and every one of her art works include the most amazing details and colour.  The two prints that Kate mailed Bella are from a new Blythe doll range that she's been working on:

My girl was beaming when these arrived in the post.  Aren't they sweet?!  I just had to share and the best bit is that if you pop over to Kate's blog post HERE, she is giving away a print from her Etsy store of your choice!  There are so many beautiful prints in store too, so lots to choose from.  Here are a few more of my personal favourites:

My favourites on Etsy

Hmm, I had good intentions of blogging about a new book, gorgeous Etsy store and goodies in my mail box.  But, Bella was home with a sore throat and shocking cold and the camera didn't quite make it out for photos.  Blog posts aren't fun without photos, so I'll share a few Etsy finds instead!  Yummy things that have jumped into my favourites over the last few days.

Hand knit mittens. How good?!

Vintage camping lantern pattern - I wish I had the patience to do this, it would be super cute in our caravan!!

Owl pillow - Adoring the vintage fabric and owls are always SO fun!  We need one of these for the caravan too.

I've been obsessing over this cross stitch necklace for a while now. Love!

I'm not sure that I'd wear these red panda earrings, but they just tickle my fancy.

Nice Etsy stores to visit

Being a handmade kinda girl, I love a good bit of Etsy shopping.  I occasionally share nice Etsy finds in a blog post, but today I thought I'd share a few of my most favourite stores - shops that I have personally bought from recently and love!

Dusty Plum - Jo sells the most divine hair ties and jewellery and they're packaged up so well.  The hair ties are also perfect for Blythe dolls, so Bella and our Blythes are forever sharing.

Bliss Bars - We have one of these soaps in our shower right now & it smells delicious.  I loved the soaps so much that I bought a few recently to pop away for Christmas gifts.

Namolio -  I bought two of these pretty pincushions recently. They were both going to be Christmas gifts, but I'm thinking of keeping one for myself.  They're beautifully made & came smelling like pretty lavender, which was a lovely surprise.

Belle & Boo - everybody loves Belle & Boo goodies, but at the moment their store is stocked with all sorts of Christmas goodness.  Shipping is pretty reasonable to Australia too, which is always nice.

There are lots of other stores on my 'must visit' list too - do you have a favourite store?

Little Etsy update

I popped a couple of little Blythe cardigans in my Etsy store a moment ago.  I have more to list, but ran out of time to photograph them.  Hopefully tomorrow afternoon!

Etsy store update

Hello!  I've just popped some crochet doll/teddy blankets into my Etsy store.  There are only a few so far, but hopefully more to come soon.

I've also included a couple of Blythe quilts in store as well.  More of those coming soon too :)
