Hooray, ripple-along time!
It's week one in the ripple-along and hopefully you're all busy choosing yarn, chaining on that first row and also doing a little bit of rippling.
Thank you to everyone who is playing along and those that aren't, I hope you enjoy popping in each week to watch our blanket progress. The join up list has grown so much (43 ladies, including myself) and what I'm thinking is that each week I'll re-blog the list and you can all have a lovely time clicking onto everybodys blog for inspiration. Monday (in Australia) will always be ripple sharing day, so if you have a nice photo of your blanket to blog about, try and get that up by Sunday evening (Aussie time) so that it will be at the tippity top of your blog for Monday's sharing. Every couple of weeks I might choose somebody from the list and do a mini 'spotlight' on them, here on the blog.

For those of you joining in that don't have a blog, you can share photos via instagram, flickr, etc... The hashtag on instagram is #ripplealong (lots of photos already!) and if you do have an instagram user name, please let me know and I'll add it to our master list.

I actually started my blanket late last week and have managed quite a few rows during the weekend. Weekends are usually my most productive crochet time because we often watch a movie on one night and this means I can multitask and watch + crochet. I also try and squeeze in a row during my lunch break at work.
I'm super happy with how this blanket is going and I'm really enjoying the colour combination too. Don't worry if you haven't even started your blanket yet - that's perfectly okay! We'll all be working at a different pace over the next few weeks and although I'm flying with mine now, I might not be next month.
