I forgot to share Bella's new quilt with you all!
We're lucky to have a very clever family that can sew, knit, crochet, embroider and do all sorts of other crafty projects. My mother-in-law spends copious amounts of time creating the most gorgeous gifts for everybody throughout the year, and this year Bella received a beautiful quilt from her for Christmas.
It was the perfect gift for an almost 12 year old and was also pretty fabulous timing since we had her room makeover planned.
Here it is in Bella's freshly painted room - such a lovely match with the new colour and a great size for her bed too.
I know I promised photos of the completed room and they'll be lots more to come - we've been busy putting up some wall art and are still moving things back into their final position. For now my girl is pretty happy with having a fresh wall of colour, a cosy bed and some music by her side.
