The ends on my baby ripple blanket are all darned in and this little number is ready for it's new home. Huzzah!
I've had a few emails and questions about the baby ripple, so here are all the details in one spot for you:
- Pattern: I used Attic 24's tutorial, which is full of step by step clear instructions & easy to follow photos. You can find it HERE.
- Yarn: Moda Vera pure wool 8 ply, available at Spotlight.
- Finished size: 86cm in width, 82cm in length. From memory I chained 171 to start.
- Colour wave pattern: I just repeated my colour sequence six times.
Keeping my fingers and toes crossed that the blanket is well loved in it's new home.
I'm also thinking a small ripple blanket might be a nice gift to make for my great niece & nephew, ready for Christmas this year. But first, I'm actually going to finish off the granny stripe blanket that is 99% complete - I'm hoping to have this done and dusted within a week (two at the most) and then I'm definitely up for a little ripple-along!! I'll keep you posted :)
