Rewind back a couple of weekends ago and we all leaped (um, no) out of bed at 4.30am to drive to the north of the state. Our main reason for the trip was so that James could join in with a mountain bike race, but of course we always like to include a few other things in a day trip:
- Early morning stop on the way for hot chocolates & coffee.
- Car crochet - when it's Mr Goodsell's turn to drive.
- A little stop on the way home at the lolly store.
We also called into the Ut Si Cafe in Perth - YUMMO! I can definitely recommend this as a lovely little place to stop for a bite to eat & a hot drink.

Such a good day and we were home in time for dinner. Just incase you're wondering, my baby ripple blanket is coming along slowly - I'm about a third of the way there!
