Mr Goodsell whipped up this sweet gem of a Christmas tree last night, using old wooden pallets. The decorations are simple woollen pom poms that I made at home - easy, fast and I think they make the tree look a little less sparse.
It's for a festive display that we're doing at work, but I super want one for our back decking area now! We don't usually do any outdoor Christmas decorating, but I really like the idea of a pallet tree and think it would blend in nicely with the wood fired oven and rustic furniture that we have.
A few nails, an old pallet, an hour or so of time and the tree was created. It's pretty cool to make something out discarded wood that usually just ends up at the tip, don't you think?
