The crochet sampler blanket is growing:
I'm really enjoying this new project - I wasn't sure about having such a mix of colours when I started out, but now that I've crocheted up a few squares, I super like it.
Here are the finer details:
- Yarn: Moda Vera 8 ply pure wool
- Crochet Hook: 3.5
- Crochet sampler squares: All from '200 Crochet Blocks' book.
- Size of squares: 6" or 15cm
- Blanket size I'm aiming for: Absolutely no idea - I really should work that out soon, so I know how many squares are needed. Suggestions for a good blankie size?
Here are my latest squares - they all need blocking of course:
Lacy Cross, square pattern #19.
Patriotic Sunburst, Square pattern #65
Granny with a twist, square pattern #40
I love the enthusiasm that goes with starting a new project and at the moment I'm feeling that same enthusiasm every time I start a new square.
Let's hope it keeps up!
