Hello! Did you miss me? I've been having a lovely little blogging break this last week and I'm back - refreshed and ready to share lots of new things.
Firstly I thought I'd pop in with a little caravan update. We still have lots to do, but it's starting to take shape (just a little) and working nicely towards the vision I have in my head for it.

I bought a yard of laminated fabric from Etsy. I had in my mind a cute little vintage tablecloth, but in all seriousness, that's going to last two seconds on a camping trip - somebody is sure to spill a drink, drip tomato sauce or wipe their grotty little (or big!) fingers on it. A laminated one seemed like a more sensible option - just wipe off & easy peasy! I still need to hem the sides, but it's busily soaking up the sun on the table at the moment, waiting for packaging creases to smooth out.

Originally I had a crocheted bunting above our bed, but I decided to replace that with a swag of hand dyed doilies. I still need to machine stitch them into position, but I snapped a couple of photos while I was playing with the colour sequence:
It's pretty, light and fun..don't you think?

There are still more pillows needed for sleeping and extra blankets to come, but here's the basis of our double bed up the back of the caravan. You've probably seen the birdie pillow before on my blog, it was a gift from a dear friend and perfect for our wee van. The vintage pillowcases I picked up on Etsy.

I'm filling those back walls with pretty unframed prints and perhaps a magazine holder of sorts. I'm trying very hard not to read or look at my latest issues of Real Living, Frankie and Molly Makes - they're all coming along on our first trip for inspiration and rest time reading.

So, that's where we're at so far. Still lots to do, but making small steps with it each week.
I'll be back a little later in the day,
