Much to Bella's delight, Nanny Marion delivered her a new hand knitted jacket today. I love that we have a creative family - Nan Marion and Nan Joan are both knitters, sewers and all round crafty people. Bella really adores and appreciates all things handmade too - most of her outfits are handmade (at her request) so she was super excited to be given a brand new jacket for her wardrobe.
I'm also a really s-l-o-w knitter, so as much as I'd like to knit up a few jumpers and cardigans for her, in all honesty there's really no hope that I'd ever get them finished!! Plus, if I dropped a stitch I wouldn't know how to fix it. Thank goodness for fabulous family!
The blanket stitched edge is my favourite bit and Bella thinks the zip and pockets are cool.
