This week for Kids in the Kitchen we have omelettes! An easy peasy meal for your little one to whip up. Over to Bella :)
Hi, it's Bella here. Today I am telling you how to make an omelette. I make them for myself and my brother for breakfast or lunch.
You will need - eggs, milk, a frypan, whisk, bowl, olive oil spray, a spatula and some ingredients to put in the omelette. I like to use ham, onion, capsicum, tomato and some pepper. But you can just have it plain with the eggs and milk if you want to.
Step 1 - Chop up any ingredients that you want to add. Crack 3 eggs into a bowl and whisk them up a little bit. Then add a splash of milk which is a little bit more than a tablespoon. Mix in the milk.
Step 2 - Add the other ingredients and also put a little bit of pepper in and maybe some salt.
Step 3 - Turn the frypan onto medium and spray it with the olive oil spray. Then put in the omelette mixture and cook it until it's kind of crispy brown on one side.
Step 4 - Try and flip it in half, but don't worry if you can't because it doesn't always flip properly and sometimes mine ends up a big mess, but it doesn't matter because it still tastes the same.
Step 5 - Eat it. I like to have mine with some puppodums that I cook in the microwave, but you don't have to.
Sometimes I make this for myself on a school day, if Mummy says it's okay. Next week there will be a guest blogger who is sharing an awesome recipe. She is 8 years old and is awesome. So stay tuned!!!!!!! Love from Bella xoxoxo
Thanks Bella!
