Welcome to project 3:
Once you've made up a stash of love heart necklaces from yesterday's post, you'll need a nice way of packaging them up :) For my post today I've machine stitched up some love hearts on brown paper bags - we popped the necklaces in before the final stitching. It's cute because the recipient has to tear open the heart to retrieve their gift and it's a fast way of making your gift look pretty.
You'll need:
♥ sewing machine (red cotton)
♥ pencil + eraser
♥ brown paper bag
Draw a big love heart shape on the brown paper bag - use a pencil.
Machine stitch around half of the love heart.
Pop the gift inside.
Finish machine stitching around the heart and then add another layer of stitching.
Close the top off with a little bit of deco bag, for added cuteness! Use an eraser to rub out any left over pencil marks.
Ta-da! Your gift wrapping is all done.
Don't forget to pop over to Tamar's blog and see her sweet Valentine cupcakes :)
