Suzi left a comment on my crochet bunting post and encouraged me to start another brand new project, so I thought I would :)
I know, I know, it doesn't take much to twist my arm.
It's going to be a pillow to match the bunting in our bedroom. I'm joining the squares together as I go, which is something that I've always wanted to learn, but I wasn't sure if I could manage. I used THIS tutorial for it by Sarah London (a crochet queen) and it was really quite easy. I'd definitely recommend taking a peek at the tutorial link if this is something you'd also like to try.
I'm going to have to take a little break from crocheting soon though. I've just ordered some really yummy fabrics and when they all start arriving I'm going to make Bella a few clothes in preparation for our upcoming spring and summer. A couple of lazy days skirts, a new apron top in the next size up and perhaps a dress. She's requested some pants too, out of Carefree Clothes for Girls: 20 Patterns for Outdoor Frocks, Playdate Dresses, and More, but we'll see how I go.
