I've been thinking it was Sunday all day today which is quite fab really, because it means an extra day of the weekend tomorrow (when it really is Sunday).
So, the stitching is coming along quite nicely and a little girl was even inspired to start her own sampler this afternoon after drawing her own designs out on paper. Bella is doing an Alice in Wonderland theme for hers (squeal!!) and we drew up the squares (on her sampler) a little bigger, just to make it a little more manageable.
Can you see her rough sketch of the embroidery? I'm in love with the bottle that says 'drink me' and that big cheesy grin on the cat. Tomorrow I've promised stitching on the couch - side by side, Mama and Bella time as we work on our little squares together. That sounds cute hey!
Our day was made up of a few things including biscuit & coffee cake baking, a trip to the dog beach, building card houses, more kitchen building, sleeping in, Blythe doll dressing, blog surfing, model making and all those b-o-r-i-n-g things like washing and cleaning up.
