For my post today I thought I'd share my new Christmas banner that I sewed up last week. I used some of the darling Japanese Christmas fabric that I've shared on my blog before (available at Retro Mummy), some white felt (for the inner fabric) and some lovely red twill (available at Ribbons Galore).
Why, oh why is bunting so hard to photograph?
I cut out a series of circles from the fabric and felt, layered them either side of the twill (fabric then felt then a backing circle of fabric) and sewed each one onto the twill. I'm quite pleased with how it all turned out - they remind me of giant snowballs!
