Wow, 37 participants so far in the lazy days skirt sew-a-long! I've been adding you all into my side bar, but if you're missing off the list please let me know. If you don't have a blog, then the link in the side bar will bring you back to my blog.
There are five days left until the sew-a-long starts, which means five days left to organise fabric, elastic, ribbon and any other materials that you might need to sew your skirt/s. Today I've been preparing two of my skirts for next week.
The first lazy days skirt is going be a patchwork one using the gorgeous new fabrics by Sweetwater for Moda available at Quilt Fabric Delights. I'm really fond of this range and think it will look sweet with an off white t-shirt worn on top.
For the second lazy days skirt I'm using just one piece of fabric, unicorns on purple (far far away) which is also available at Quilt Fabric Delights. Those who know me will know that I'm really not a purple fan, but Bella is beside herself at the thought of owning her first purple outfit!! Really, it's more of a purple/pink mix than true purple - so I'm quite excited to sew this one up too! I'm adding some beautiful vintage lace around the bottom edge of the skirt that was given to me by one of my sweet crafty friends (thankyou Cathy).
If you're also sharing sneaks of your lazy day skirt fabric/s on your blog - please let everyone know by leaving a comment in this post. I know that I'd love to sneak a peek!!
