Remember our beautiful Christmas Elves that were a gift from the lovely Kathleen? Well, Kathleen and I have kept in touch with a few emails over the last few months and today a couple of sweet presents arrived in the mail for James and Bella, from Kathleen and her boys.
A very cute wallet for Bella with a Japanese girl on the front (Bella LOVES anything with a Japanese style to it) and some Star Wars figures for James to add to his collection. Thanks so much Kathleen, they were both very excited!!
Oh and here's the start of number one scarf. I hope I have the patience to work my way through two of these! I'm using two balls of 8ply wool together and it feels so nice and soft already, even though I've only knitted a little bit. While I'm talking about knitting, are you on Ravelry? If you are, please say hello - I do love looking through everybody's gorgeous knitting projects and seeing what everyone is working on. I could spend hours drooling on there if I had the time!! You can find me HERE.

I just recently joined Ravelry Mel, but haven't quite worked it out yet. Oh you might like to take a peek at my blog to see DD's version of patternmaking for Zet. LOL.
Have a great weekend.

I joined Ravelry after your recent blog post...and have made a scarf for my son from the pattern you had used...just haven't done the upload image thing yet :-) I used straight 8 ply and a possum merino wool which is really soft!

The presents are cute! Lucky kids!
The scarf looks great too. Can't beat a good scarf these days. I am hooked on knitting them. That's about all I can manage these days cos they are simple & quick & easy to work on with a toddler! lol
Enjoy your knitting & of course you have the patience to do it! If you don't you will burst all of our little bubbles! lol

Great gifts! And guess what? I have the Japanese doll that is on Bella's wallet! I bought it when I went back to Singapore a few months ago. Here is a photo of my wooden doll:

Isn't she adorable? She reminds me of my friend's daughter, Georgia:
