It should turn out fine for you. I really hate it when you have to keep repeating a row, and yes I knit all the time and still do it so dont feel bad.

Belinda

My daughters grandma is knitting her a beanie in that exact colour for School, they are not allowed anything but this and blue. I have serious envy issues with your new sewing machine ;) Mine is about 9 years old and even though it goes ok I'd love a more up to date one.

Christy

You can do it!!!

Oh Mel - love the colour :) You'll be right - just keep knitting, just keep knitting..... you are so lucky Bella :)
Went to the library today to pick up "A Year in a Bottle". Looks devine - might try to buy this one :)

Sheree

I love the diagonal style design of this pattern Mel! It's going to look great when you've finished... and I know you WILL finish it! :) Bella's going to love it!

I was going to ask if it's hard or not but as i read on I think that i will leave it to you. I am sure that Bella will love it when its finished, very stylish.

That beanie is going to look so nice on Bella. And every stitch (unravelled or otherwise) will be worth it when you see her wearing it. :) Go Mel!

Tammy

What a lovely pattern Mel! I do hope it all works out for you.

Neek

for a beginner your great! Can I fly over and spend a week with you learning everything????? :) :) I would love to knit that beanie but will stick to doing mine on the loom. :)

I have just started knitting too and my 2nd hat has a lacy brim. I have ripped the darn thing out twice. Nobody is allowed to talk to me when i'm knitting because i will immediately forget what stitch i just did - lol

Your hat looks great so far.

Oh - and I seriously want your new sewing machine!
