Hi Peta. The owl was out of a Japanese embroidery book that I have here. Unfortunately the front cover of the book is written in Japanese so I can't let you know the title.
Narelle: Hi Mel. Just wondering what pattern you have followed for your crocheted rug? It looks great, I am wanting to do something similar but I can't find a pattern :(

Hi Narelle. The original pattern for the square was from THIS YouTube link. I'm just making up the colour placement of the squares as I go along.
Rub-on pet rocks: I know there were a couple of comments and a few emails asking if I could post a tutorial on how to do these and explain a little about rub-ons. Yes - I'm onto it and I'm hoping to put it up later this week.
