Today Fiona and I decided to use an online tutorial and pattern to create an Easter bunny. I sewed a very plain bunny using a red felted knitted jumper. It was quick, easy and I completed the bunny in around half and hour from start to finish. I'd definitely recommend the pattern for a beginner sewer.
HERE is the tutorial by Betz white that we used.
You can pop over to Fiona's blog and take a peek at her beautifully quilted bunny HERE - it's totally gorgeous!
We'll see you again on Wednesday for day 3 of our Egg-ceptional Egg-xtravaganza :)

Just had to tell you it made me laugh that you made a bunny out of a 'jumper' :)
This is great. A fun thing to do with/for our kids. Thanks!

Would you believe I made the same bunny on saturday night. I used a red wool skirt! Too funny. Only, I went to a friends when I made this, only took the template with me not the tute. I handsewed on my ears.. they look a little odd lol and my rear leg looks a bit.. odd. haha. Cute bunny Melissa :)
