I've had this idea saved in my favourite folder for quite some time now. I found it originally here and fell in love with the cuteness. I was saving the activity to help fill in the summer holiday period, but today Bella was home from school not feeling very well and after lunch (feeling better) she started looking for some crafting to do. We went and bought some more popsicle sticks and got to work.
It took about 250 popsicle sticks. We used a hot glue gun and although Bella often uses this by herself for different projects, it proved a little tricky for her to glue and line the sticks up relatively even before the glue dried. So, I glued and she stuck the sticks down. That worked well.
There's a very happy girl in the Goodsell house tonight now it's all finished. Ofcourse she's been madly decorating (I love the little rock person, peg girls and puffy nest for the chicken).
Only 4 more sleeps until the month of handmade Christmas begins :)
