I haven't been posting any scrapbooking on my blog over the last few weeks because I've been having a little break from my commitments. I just felt I needed a rest from it all (I've been scrapbooking most days/weeks non stop for the last 6 years) and I think it's been just what I needed. I still have a few weeks to go of my break but I must say that I'm really looking forward to getting back into it when those weeks are up.
I had a bit of a dilema because this month's Tarisota kit was absolutely gorgeous and included the most beautiful Ribbon Collection plus an embroidery hoop that I was dying to play with (out of the main collection). But I was supposed to be having a break from playing right!?? Tamar took pity on me I think (lol) and eased my suffering by mailing me out a few bits and pieces, which was so lovely. On the night of my pizza box arrival I created this wall hanging for Bella's room with my goodies. It looks really pretty hanging in her room - thankyou very much Tamar for letting me play :)
I also got a little carried away and created these two layouts. How could I not with all that yummy product left over from my hoop :) The first layout is a photo of my friend's beautiful daughter Mollie.
The second felt tutorial is loaded for tomorrow :)
